On 17 May 2008 21 teams participated.
1st Place - USA (Caringbah HS),
2nd Place - Israel (Hurlstone High),
3rd Place - France (St Mary's Team 1).
The John Hall Memorial Trophy (Best Speaker) was awarded to Sarah Greenbaum, St George Girls' High for her speech on the Antarctic Treaties.
Last, but not least, the Best Costume on the day prize was awarded to Germany represented by St Patrick's, Sutherland.
